These two trash cans feature the most advanced sensor technology found in all Ninestars trash cans.

Simply pass your hand or debris within ten inches or a 130° angle from the infrared sensor, and the lid will automatically open. The lid will remain open as long as your hand or debris remains within the range of the infrared sensor. Once your hand moves away, the lid will close automatically. Each can includes a ring liner that keeps the trash bag out of public view, maintaining a neat and clean appearance.

The water-resistant infrared motion sensor prevents moisture or accidental spills from damaging the unit, while the finger-print resistant stainless steel base helps keep the can clean. The advanced delay sensing technology preserves battery life and prevents unnecessary opening from pets, children, or passersby. Additionally, the soft-closing function ensures the longevity of the product.

The touch-free motion sensor lid seals in odors and eliminates cross-contamination of germs. The cans require 3 C and 2 C batteries (not included), and it is highly recommended to use alkaline batteries for optimal performance.

For added convenience, the removable ring liner holds the trash bag securely in place and prevents it from overhanging, maintaining a neat and clean appearance. These trash cans accommodate any standard trash bags or NINESTARS custom trash bags NSTB-13-30 and NSTB-3-30.
